FAQ

This section is designed to answer common questions about the recycling return program and how it works in practice. It provides clarification on which items can be included, how to prepare them, and what participants can expect after submitting their empties.

Not every product is eligible for return through the program. In general, primary packaging such as glass containers, aluminum-based tubes, and mixed-material packaging components can be sent back for recycling. However, certain items are excluded from participation. These include specific single-use products like exfoliating pad refills, eye patch treatments, small sample formats, and sachet-style packets. These exclusions are based on material type and processing limitations within the recycling system.

For special edition product bundles, the set is treated as a single unit for recycling purposes. This means that when a limited collection is purchased as a group, all associated containers from that set must be returned together in order to qualify. Partial returns from a set may not meet the program requirements, so completeness is necessary when submitting these items.

Before sending products back, customers are advised to ensure that each container is properly emptied and prepared according to the guidance provided for each specific item. Some packaging may require light rinsing or separation of components before being placed in a return shipment. Detailed instructions can typically be found on individual product pages to help ensure correct preparation and smoother processing.

The program allows flexibility in the number of items submitted. While a minimum threshold of five eligible empties is required in order to receive a reward, participants are welcome to send more than the minimum amount if they choose. However, there is a monthly limit on the reward value that can be issued through the program, meaning that even if more empties are sent, the incentive remains capped within that time period.

After the used packaging has been received and checked, the reward is processed and delivered electronically. Typically, this takes up to ten business days once the shipment has been confirmed and verified by the processing team. The credit provided does not have an expiration date and can be applied toward future purchases at any time, offering flexibility for later use.

Participation is currently limited to customers located within the continental United States. At this time, international participation is not supported due to shipping and logistics constraints.

Customers are also encouraged to include empties from other beauty brands when sending back their packaging. Through a partnership with a recycling organization, mixed-brand recycling is accepted within the same shipment. However, only eligible brand-specific items contribute toward earning the reward credit.

To initiate participation, customers must first request a prepaid return shipping label through the designated system. This process involves submitting basic information and agreeing to the terms associated with third-party logistics handling. Once the request is completed, a return label is issued and can be used to ship the empties back at no personal shipping cost.

It is important to send the package within the required timeframe after the label is issued. Typically, returns should be shipped within two weeks of receiving the label, as it will expire after that period. Sending items within this window ensures that the package is properly tracked and processed without delays or complications.

Overall, the program is structured to make recycling used beauty packaging more accessible while also encouraging continued participation through simple guidelines, clear eligibility rules, and a straightforward return process.
